The extension is only needed when capturing video streams from custom 3rd-party websites.
How does video stream auto-detection work?
When active, the extension injects a lightweight client-side media observer into your browser tab. It scans the page DOM for HTML5 video tags, iframe embeds, HLS (.m3u8) manifests, and DASH (.mpd) stream URLs. Once detected, a quick PlayParty button appears allowing you to launch a synchronized room instantly.
Does the extension collect my browsing history or personal data?
